THE IMPORTANCE OF MOBILIZATION
"He saith unto them, “Come and see.” They came and saw where He dwelt and abode with Him that day; for it was about the tenth hour." John 1:39 (KJV)
BIBLE READING: JOHN 1:37-51; ACTS 18:9-10; ACTS 22:14-15; ACTS 5: 20-21
God's Grand Mission is unfolding across the Earth, and it's gradually culminating into the End Time Harvest. Are you ready to play your own part? Mobilization is God's Powerful Summons, His Divine Call to action for His Kingdom. It's about more than just getting ready; it's about preparing and organizing His people for Active Service, equipping them to move with Purpose. As Joel 2:7 says, "They run like mighty men; they climb the wall like men of war." God is gathering His Resources – you and I – to work together for His Goals, turning hearts towards His Light. Here are some ways to understand the Concept of "mobilization" in God's Plan:
(1.) Muster: This is when we find all the Strength, Courage, and Faith we have, and God brings us together for a Shared Purpose. It's about rallying every Spiritual Resource within us and around us.
(2.) Gathering: This refers to people coming together for a specific, Divine Reason, like a family gathering of God's children or a meeting of Spiritual leaders. It signifies Unity in Christ.
(3.) Rally: This is a Powerful Coming together to support a specific Idea or Truth, like standing strong for the Gospel. It’s about uniting to help and encourage each other in God's Work.
(4.) Assembly: This speaks of God's Chosen people who have been called and put together to make decisions and carry out God's Will on Earth, acting as His Representatives.
The Holy Bible is full of Powerful Examples of God's Mobilization:
(a.) John the Baptist: He was a voice in the wilderness, mobilizing people to prepare for Jesus. When he pointed to Christ, his Disciples like Andrew followed (Jn. 1:40) after which he immediately brought his own brother, Simon Peter, to Jesus (Jn. 1:41-42). This shows the Power of one person reaching another!
(b.) Philip and Nathanael: Jesus called Philip, who then invited Nathanael to "come and see"(Jn. 1:43-46). This teaches us to bring others to experience Jesus for themselves.
(c.) The Early Church: After Pentecost, thousands were added to their number (Acts 2:41; Acts 4:4). They were mobilized daily, meeting in homes and sharing the Good News, leading to Massive Growth and Transformation (Acts 2:46-47; Acts 6:7).
(d.) The Lord Jesus Himself: The Ultimate Mobilizer, He called His Disciples with the Words, "Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men" (Matt. 4:19). He equipped them and sent them out to multiply His Work.
As Christian believers, we are expected and commanded to mobilize people in vital ways:
(i.) By Being Living Witnesses for Christ: God calls all Christian believers to bring sight to the Spiritually blind (Isa. 43:8-13). Just as Ancient Israel was meant to be His Witness, every Christian today must be a living Testimony for Jesus Christ (Acts 1:8). This means our lives, our action, and our words should constantly point to Him, drawing others to His Light.
(ii.) By Sacrificing Personal Rights and Privileges: We are called to go out of our way, just as Apostle Paul did, becoming "all things to all people"(1Cor. 9:19-20). This means being willing to pay the Price – giving our Time, our Comfort, and our Resources – to help unbelievers have a life-changing Encounter with Jesus. It's putting their Salvation above our own convenience.
(iii.) By Presenting Jesus as the Only Solution: Life is full of problems and crises. But the Unchanging Truth is that Jesus Christ is the Only Way, the Only Truth and the Only Life that everyone needs, no matter what they face (Jn. 14:6). We must stand firmly on this Truth, boldly inviting unbelievers to Jesus, assuring them that "His Yoke is easy and His Burden is light" (Matt. 11:28-30).
At its core, Mobilization is about God's Passionate Heart for every lost soul. There's a Spiritual Battle raging for human lives, and every person brought into God's Kingdom is a Victory for Heaven. This is why our involvement is so urgent and vital. It's not just about growing the Church; it's about extending God's Loving Rule and transforming lives, one soul at a time. Each Act of Mobilization contributes to fulfilling His Eternal Purpose on Earth.
PRAYER:
Heavenly Father, we thank You for the Holy Spirit's Power that enables us to witness and draw people to Christ. We ask You to awaken within us a Burning Fire and Deep Compassion for lost souls once more. Equip us, O Lord, to boldly mobilize for Your Kingdom in Jesus' Mighty Name. Amen.
