The Significance and Benefits of Praise can never be overemphasized. As we approach the end of the year 2024, there is a serious need for every Christian believer to be mindful of the importance of praising the Lord God Almighty and expressing our profound Gratitude to Him appropriately Anyone who praises God with reckless abandon from the depths of his heart always abides in His Presence as seen in our Key Scriptural Text. In other words, the more we praise Him, the more of His Presence we attract. Anytime we praise and cultivate a Conducive Atmosphere for the Presence of God, He takes over our battles with the Supernatural becoming natural.
On the flip side, deciding to be ungrateful by murmuring, complaining, living in doubt, or engaging in unhealthy comparison with each other (2Cor. 10:12b) indirectly issues Him a quit notice in our affairs, something which attracts disastrous consequences as stated in the Epistle of Jude: "It was about these people that Enoch, in the seventh generation from Adam, prophesied when he said, “Look, the Lord came with Myriads of His Holy Ones to execute Judgment upon all, and to convict all the ungodly of all the ungodly deeds they have done in an ungodly way, and of all the harsh and cruel things ungodly sinners have spoken against Him.” THESE PEOPLE ARE [HABITUAL MURMURERS, GRIPING AND COMPLAINING, following after their own desires [controlled by passion]; they speak arrogantly, [pretending admiration and] flattering people to gain an advantage" (vs 14-16 AMP).
According to the aforementioned Scripture, we can see that God hates murmuring and complaining as shown in the wilderness and the Divine Judgment, which ensued. It was one Major Reason the Israelites who perished in the wilderness didn't make it into the Promised Land despite the Promises made to their fathers and the Mighty Deliverance they experienced in Egypt. In view of this, we must learn to praise the Lord always in and out of season because our Praises invite Him on the scene to turn our situations around.
PRAYER:
Heavenly Father, we thank You for this year 2024. We praise You for the things that went well and in spite of those which didn't. O Lord, please help us to always give You Praise, knowing that all things would work together for our good in Jesus' Mighty Name. Amen.
