THREE KEYS TO OVERCOMING THE ANTICHRIST

"And I heard a loud voice saying in Heaven,' Now is come Salvation, and Strength, and the Kingdom of our God, and the Power of His Christ: for the accuser of our brethren..." Revelation 12:10-11(KJV)

The culmination of the Epic Events of the Last Days will begin with the manifestation of the antichrist, who is also referred to in the Holy Scriptures as "the son of perdition" (2Thess. 2:3). It is absolutely important to note that one of the major things he will do when he comes is to persecute the saints. The Holy Bible refers to this time as a time of Great Tribulation (Matt. 24:21). The Bible also gives us the Keys on how to overcome him as stated in our Key Scriptural Text for today: "They overcame him by THE BLOOD OF THE LAMB, and by THE WORD OF THEIR TESTIMONY; and THEY LOVED NOT THEIR LIVES UNTO THE DEATH" (Rev. 12:11).

The Holy Scriptures also declare that we were not redeemed with corruptible things, such as silver and gold, .. but with the Precious Blood of Christ, as of a Lamb without blemish and without spot (1Pet. 1:18-19). It is sin that gives satan the legal ground to afflict us. The Blood of the Lamb dealt with sin, thereby making us immune to the onslaughts of the enemy. Because of that Same Blood, we are not afraid of death hence "they loved not their lives unto the death" (Rev. 12:11c). The Bible confirms this in 1 Corinthians 15:55-56 when Apostle Paul was addressing the Mystery of the Resurrection of the dead: "O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? The sting of death is sin...."

The last weapon mentioned in the main passage above is "the Word of their Testimony" (Rev. 12:11b). The Holy Bible declares in Revelation 19:10 that "The Testimony of Jesus is the Spirit of Prophecy." Prophecy is the Declaration of God's Words under the Influence and Power of the Holy Spirit. When God's Inspired Word is declared over any situation, then that situation has no option other than to bow because the entire world and everything inside it "were framed by the Word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear" (Heb. 11:3).

Lord Jesus, thank You for Your Precious Blood that was shed for us, Which dealt with our sin and saved us from the power of the enemy. May we continue to stay under the Covering of the Blood and continue to declare Your Word over every situation in our lives so that we can stay triumphant in Jesus' Mighty Name. Amen.
