It is absolutely impossible to overemphasize the Relevance and importance of Prayer in the life of every Christian believer and in the Grand Scheme of things (Jam. 5:16b). There are so many different Categories of Prayer documented in the Holy Bible, but one of the Most Powerful and Effective is Prophetic Prayer, which is also referred to as Commanding Prayer. This type has to do with praying from Heaven to Earth as opposed to praying from Earth to Heaven, the latter being the Prayer of Petition. Simply put, Prophetic Prayer involves the Christian believer enforcing God's Counsel and Will upon every contrary situation he may face in life (Matt. 6:10).
The Prophetic is that Major Factor that gives Prayer a Cutting Edge as well as a Turbo Boost in the Realm of the Spirit. It is by virtue of the Prophetic that darkness is pierced by the infusion of Light. One of the Major Traits of Prophetic Prayer is the involvement of Prophetic Action. During the passing of Divine Judgment upon King Jeconiah of Judah in the Place of Prayer, the Prophet Jeremiah spoke to the Earth and issued a Prophetic Instruction: "O Earth, Earth, Earth, HEAR THE WORD OF THE LORD!Thus says the Lord: ‘Write this man down as childless, a man who shall not prosper in his days; For none of his descendants shall prosper, sitting on the throne of David, and ruling anymore in Judah’" Jer. 22:29-30 (NKJV). The inevitable outcome of this Prophetic Proclamation was a fulfillment of every single word he uttered because he leveraged on the Prophetic which granted him a Supernatural Advantage.
The Basic Target of Prophetic Prayers is not the Lord God Almighty Himself but rather contrary situations or obstacles that persistently block our way (Mk. 11:23). Prayer is required to generate the Anointing, but it takes the declaration of Prophetic Instructions to unleash the Anointing. We must never forget that the Bridge between the Confession of Faith and Prophetic Prayer is the Power of God.
PRAYER:
Heavenly Father, we glorify Your Holy Name for Your Mercy and Grace. O Lord, please enable us to fully maximize and utilize the Prophetic Anointing as we issue Divine Declarations in Jesus' Mighty Name. Amen.
